How to Participate: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00AM ET on September 1, 2004 and ends on 11:59PM ET on November 1, 2004. To enter, send in business reply card in this issue, visit www.ghtravel.com, or send in a 3.5" x 5" card with your name, address, and phone number to: Virginia is for Pet Lovers Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1741, Sandusky, OH 44871-1741. One entry per person regardless of method of entry. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsors by telephone. Entrants must provide a valid e-mail address to enter online. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, incomplete, late, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries or postage due; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software, or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; printing errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, technical, electronic or otherwise. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void any entries of an entrant whom Sponsors believe has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes.
Winner Selection: One (1) winner will be selected by Good Housekeeping in a random drawing on or about November 20, 2004 from among all eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by telephone. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prizes: One (1) winner and 3 guests will receive a three-night stay at the Keswick Hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia (Prize will be redeemable any nights between November of '04 thru September of Ô05Ñexcluding all holiday weekends); a pet-pampering afternoon at the Olde Town Pet Resort in Springfield, Virginia (Your pet will spend the day at the 27,000 square foot facility, complete with deluxe sleeping suites with automatic water fountains, an indoor swimming pool, agility course, daily walks, and much more); a year's supply of dog food valued at $325 value; a $250 gift certificate from Tysons Corner Center; a pontoon boat ride and gold panning package from Lake Anna State Park (Park will need a month's advance notice to plan the pontoon boat trip. Pontoon boat ride not available October through April); and a $200 gas voucher; Total value approximately $3,000.00. Prize does not include transportation accommodations.
Miscellaneous: All taxes on prizes and all other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prize except by Sponsors due to prize unavailability, and then for a prize of equal or greater value. Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of issuance of prize notification. Noncompliance may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner. If a winner cannot be contacted for any reason within ten (10) business days of drawing, is ineligible, fails to claim his or her prize or fails to return the completed and executed Affidavit/Releases within the required time, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected at random. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes.
